Autumn Leaves

Blessing

Autumn colors aflame
Whose fiery vibrancy celebrate
A beauty always present
Secretly hidden
Now revealed
As always
In God’s time

Renewal

Leaves falling
Symbolizing
Neither ending
Nor beginning
Life’s rhythm
Purpose and plan
Life’s cycle
Renewing itself
Over and over again

Acceptance

Leaves are so accepting
Deliberately preparing
Offering no resistance
Entrusting themselves to the wind
Releasing
Surrendering
Letting go
Free
