Archbishop Thompson will celebrate Mass for 10th anniversary of archdiocesan Apostolate of French-speaking Catholics on Oct. 8
Archbishop Charles C. Thompson will celebrate a Mass recognizing the 10th anniversary of the Apostolate of French-speaking Catholics in Indianapolis (ACFADI) at St. Monica Church, 6131 N. Michigan Road, in Indianapolis, at 5 p.m. on Oct. 8.
Indianapolis is home to Catholics of several nations whose native language is French. Through the apostolate, the Mass has been offered monthly in French for the last decade. Currently the monthly Mass is celebrated on the second Sunday of the month at 5 p.m. at St. Monica Church.
In honor of the celebration, a reception will be held after the Oct. 8 Mass with the archbishop.
French-speakers and non-French speakers alike are welcome to the Mass and reception.
