Facilities Manager

Location: St. Joseph Catholic Church, Corydon – Church and School (as needed MPB & St. Peter Chapels)

Status: Part-time – 28 hours a week. (Core hours 6:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. M-F)
Primary Functions:
Provides routine maintenance for the buildings (parish and school) and grounds including semi-skilled carpentry, plumbing, boiler, electrical, and other minor repair work. Grounds work includes raking, pruning, ice and snow removal, and other simple building and grounds maintenance. Performs cleaning, facility setup, hauling, and moving of equipment. Maintain inventory of needed janitorial and maintenance supplies – filters, roof tiles, and light bulbs. Campus cleaning duties may include mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning restrooms, window washing, dusting, and removing trash. Other responsibilities include yearly certificate renewal of boiler, elevator, and fire extinguishers. This position must exercise discretion and professional confidentiality, requires good communication skills, and the ability to work well with staff members, volunteers, and vendors.
