This is a special College Day for all friends of Catholic education who are currently enrolled in a college or university at the NCEA Convention. You can attend one of the nation’s premier national education and faith formation conferences here in Indianapolis at a very low cost.

Hear nationally-known speakers; learn about the latest educational research, educational trends, working in private schools, and Catholic education. Enjoy keynote sessions and breakout sessions as well as special sessions on Catholic faith formation presented by top professionals this day in a special “Catechists’ Track.”

Daniel Pink, Keynote Address
Left/Right Brain Thinking
Daniel H. Pink is the author of two influential business books. His latest, A Whole New Mind, charts the rise of right-brain thinking in modern economies and explains the six abilities individuals and organizations must master in an outsourced and automated world. Dan's first book, Free Agent Nation, about the growing ranks of people who work for themselves, was a business bestseller and “…a cornerstone of employee-management relations.”

Steven Ellair, Keynote for Cathechist Track 
The Catechist as Living Witness of Faith
Steven Ellair has been involved in catechetical ministry for many years. A former parish catechist, youth minister and Catholic schoolteacher, he served as the Consultant for Elementary Catechesis in the Los Angeles Archdiocese for over eight years. Currently a Senior Editor with RCL, he speaks and writes nationally on issues related to catechesis.

Joyce Rupp, Major Address 
Crossroads: Where Challenge Meets Opportunity
Joyce Rupp is well known for her work as a writer, a spiritual "midwife," and retreat and conference speaker. She has led retreats throughout North America, as well as in Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. She is a member of the Servites (Servants of Mary). Works include: May I Have This Dance, Welcome the Light, Fresh Bread and others.
